Grade 12 IEB Physical Science Tutor
About the Role
A broad overview of what your role and responsibilities will look like on a weekly basis. We will teach you how to do most things:
* Conduct Sessions every weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) for a group of learners. 2 sessions per week. One Live lesson and One facilitated (don't worry - we'll teach you how to conduct live and facilitated sessions).
* Prepare learning material you will use before, during and after the session. For example:
* Preparing slides to use during your session
* Preparing quizzes to assess learner's understanding
*
* Facilitate quarterly mock exams to assess learner's preparedness for each term
* Be a part of a group of tutors that provide support to each other to enhance teaching and learning. This includes attending workshops
Requirements
A mininmum of 80% for the subject you want to tutor.
Must be a University Student.
Good tutoring skills - able to explain concepts
Previous tutoring experience is not a requirement but can work in your favour.
Have learning material that is in line with the current curriculum.
Must have Tablet/iPad with Pen OR Writing pad connecting to a Laptop.

We are an online tutoring business in South Africa, founded by Provincial Top Achievers across different provinces in South Africa who currently study MBChB (Medicine) at the University of Cape Town (UCT). We offer affordable online tutoring services to cater for all needs of the student. We have a variety of packages, those in group tutoring and 1-on-1 private tutoring. We tutor grades 10, 11 and 12. We currently tutor on weekends but we can tutor on weekdays depending on the needs of the student. We are committed to providing quality and affordable tutoring services. The business was founded in 2023.
