Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds are provided for tutoring services offered by ScienceXperts eTutoring.

1. Full Refund Eligibility:

Students are eligible for a full refund if the assigned tutor fails to provide any tutoring sessions or decides to terminate the tutoring relationship after delivering only one session. In such cases, students or their guardians must request a refund in writing within 7 days of the tutor’s discontinuation. Refunds will only be issued once the situation has been reviewed and confirmed by ScienceXperts management.

2. Non-Refundable Situations:

Refunds are not provided if a student or guardian chooses to cancel their participation in the tutoring program either before tutoring has started or during the tutoring period, provided the tutor is ready and willing to deliver the service. We also do not offer pro-rata or partial refunds for missed sessions, student scheduling conflicts, or voluntary discontinuation once tutoring services are underway.

 

3. Processing of Refunds:

Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days after the refund request has been approved. Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment originally used by the student or guardian when purchasing the tutoring package.

 

4. Late Payments:

A late payment fee of R60 applies if monthly subscription payments are not received by the due date. The late fee must be paid together with the outstanding amount to continue accessing tutoring services. Late payment fees are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.

Please include the student’s full name, package purchased, and a description of the reason for the refund request when reaching out.
